As part of the West Cork-wide weekend of events, there will be a Scoraíocht Mór in Schull on Sunday 30th November from 2pm…until we finish!!
With Julia Zagar & Karen Minihan at the helm as usual, we are delighted to be invited to host this special event in Hackett’s Bar, Schull. The West Cork Artists for Gaza movement has events running all through the weekend to raise funds for different Gaza charities, offering artists an opportunity to show their support and, especially, to let the people of Gaza know that we stand with them against the brutality of the actions that they have endured.
You are warmly invited to participate, to share your talent, be that in song, in reading, in writing, in creating … anything that will contribute to this collective demonstration of our concerns and love for those suffering at the moment.
The event will be free, however we will be collecting funds through the Oxfam for Gaza campaign through a QR code. Come along for a few moments, stay a while, go away, and come back! Join in or just as importantly, watch (all performers love an audience!).
